Yeh Tera Ghar Yeh Mera Ghar

It's a heart-rending comedy of tragedies. Good people, driven by the daily struggle for existence, make each other's lives miserable. Absence of sound economic structures takes its toll. Poorly made laws turn people into liars; desperate, they become insensitive and inhuman. And when one party eventually succeeds in driving out the other, the goodness in their hearts makes them realize the hollowness of their victories. They concede and love, finally, gets a chance to peek into their lives filled with misery.

Don't miss this movie. For all of us fortunate enough to be not involved in a primitive struggle for existence, it shows the importance of working for better societal structures such as an economy that generates enough circulation of wealth and laws that help people as opposed to creating artifical man-made problems.

WOW... It was a nice review. I only paid attention to the "comedy of tragedy" part while watching the movie. Now (after reading your review) the movie makes complete sense.

I am thinking aloud... the movie "Ashoka" should have been picturised to give similar message - when one party eventually succeeds in driving out the other, the goodness in their hearts makes them realize the hollowness of their victories. They concede and love, finally, gets a chance to peek into their lives filled with misery. - unfortunately it didn't.
